Yikes... it's already mid-July? Damn QCI-ders... the year is going fast... there's a whole lots of stuff going out there to chat... ponder... and have some fun. Because, that's what we're here for.BUTTER JACKO... STILL - OK, OK... yeah... we're still talking about this... why? Because now I'm getting email forwards about the Butter Jacko vote for the State Fair... all telling me to vote no... Seriously? For real? I don't know what is more ridiculous.... the fact that we make things out of butter... or that a butter Jacko is threat to humanity... sigh... We've said it once... and we'll say it again, Iowans need to act like we've been there before... We voted yes. And if there was a vote to make anything out of butter... we could totally get behind a movement towards a butter Jared Allen... a butter mullet? Hell yes!
STANZEL IS IRONMAN - Huge shout out to a loyal QCI-der, Scott Stanzel. The dude a crazy good triathlete. He has started "Tri for Ned"... a fundraiser for Leukemia in memory of his father. So our main man went to Switzerland this week to compete in the Ironman Triathlon.... and he crushed it. Congrats Scott! You tha man! I know your Pops is proud of you.
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS... Footloose? Check this out... for real? So I guess you can't dance after 2am in the city of Des Moines... wierd. Not that there's a whole lots of it going on... wonder when you can start dancing again? Hmmm.... We know all of us here at QCI HQ has broken this law. No needs for carpet here... because we's be cuttin' up the rugs until the break of dawn.
